BOOKFAIR'S BACK!!!!!
We are so thrilled to announce our fall Bookfair will be starting on Monday, November 5th. This is one of our favorite times of year when we can watch our students and teachers light up over all the new books to choose from. Parents, we specifically would like to invite you to our Family Nights that are scheduled on Tuesday, November 6th and Monday, November 12th, both days beginning at 4:30PM. There is a wonderful selection this year of great reading material for your student! Please come and join us on one of our family nights. Can't wait to see you there!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
If there is one thing we can appreciate at CIAA, it is the ability to get creative with costumes! Our staff and students can come up with some of the most innovative ways to dress up for Halloween and this week will be no exception. We are very excited for our fundraising Halloween costume contest which will be held Wednesday at 2:00PM. Our Pre-K through 2nd graders can dress up at no cost unless they would like to enter the contest itself. Our 3rd through 8th graders need to bring $1.00 to dress up and participate in the contest and teachers can participate for $5.00. Prizes will be offered for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and we are sure there are going to be some amazing costumes! Students please remember to bring your costume money no later than Tuesday, October 30th.
As you can see, our staff are some of the "best dressed" for Halloween!
We can't wait to see what this year's costumes will bring!
RACING TO 100!
We are reaching for success in reading big time at CIAA! Our 1st - 8th grade students are racing to the top to see who can read 100 books this school year. Each class is keeping track of their own "Race to 100" by marking how many books students have read in their own creative ways by each classroom. It is so wonderful to see our kids working hard to reach their goals!
8TH GRADE SET TO EXPLORE!
Our 8th grade classes are preparing today for exploring tomorrow! Literally! Tomorrow our 8th graders will be participating in the ACT Explore Testing that will help identify their individual skills in order to begin choosing curriculum paths for high school and later careers. Happy Explorations 8th grade! Parents and students, remember to get lots of rest and be here on time!

CIAA ROCKS COVINGTON BBQ FEST!
Our school was so extremely honored to be invited to perform at the Covington BBQ Fest this year on October 4th at Cobb-Parr Park! Our band, choir, and dance teams all performed! We are extremely proud of all our students who participated in this fun-filled event! We will let the pictures below give you a taste of how great it was!

FALL CARNIVAL!!
We had a blast last Friday at our Annual Fall Carnival! Students enjoyed fun activities and time together with games, cake walk, bouncy houses, face painting, tatoos, photo shoots, and snacks! What a great time!
